This is the longest of the five airport journeys we serve from Cambourne, and road conditions on the way can make a considerable difference to how long it takes. We set your pickup time from your flight time, your address and when you are travelling, then confirm it with you in advance. If you would rather reach the airport earlier than we suggest, tell us and we will plan around that.
Gatwick has two terminals, North and South, so your terminal should be confirmed before you travel. If you have your flight details, these can be used to check whether you need North or South Terminal. Your driver takes you to the designated drop-off area for that terminal, and the applicable standard drop-off charge is included in your fare.
When you book, choose a vehicle with room for everyone travelling and all your cases. Your fare is fixed once you confirm, and there is no meter, so traffic on the way does not change what you pay.

Gatwick has two passenger terminals, North and South. Your terminal decides where you are dropped off and where you meet your driver, so it matters in both directions.
Check your terminal with your airline before you travel. The flight number is a more reliable guide than the airline name alone, because the terminal can depend on the flight. Gatwick lists current airlines and their terminals on its airlines and terminals page.
Gatwick has a free inter-terminal shuttle between North and South. It runs every few minutes, and the journey between the terminals takes about two minutes.
Gatwick keeps drop-offs and pickups apart. Departing passengers are dropped off on the terminal forecourt, and pickups use the Short Stay car parks.
For a departure, your driver takes you to the designated drop-off area for the correct Gatwick terminal, on the forecourt a short walk from check-in. It is for quick stops: your driver pulls in, you take your luggage and you walk into the terminal. Gatwick charges for using its drop-off zones, and the applicable standard drop-off charge is included in the fare shown before booking.
For a Gatwick pickup, your driver confirms the meeting arrangement for your terminal. Standard pickups use Gatwick’s designated pickup facilities in the Short Stay car parks rather than the terminal drop-off forecourt, so you may need to walk from Arrivals to the pickup point. The applicable standard pickup parking charge is included in your fare.
Where your booking includes meeting inside the terminal, your driver parks in Short Stay and meets you in Arrivals. Otherwise, the agreed pickup point is confirmed for your booking. Gatwick also has express pick-up bays in its Short Stay car parks, where a driver waits with the car and you walk out to meet them. An outside express pickup may also be arranged where appropriate.

Once you confirm, the fare is fixed for that journey. There is no meter, and nothing is added for traffic or for a delayed flight. A fare only increases if you ask for extra stops, change the pickup address on the day, or your own arrangements run beyond the agreed time. Your driver tells you before anything is added.
The person who books and the person who travels do not need to be the same. A PA or administrator can arrange a client’s arrival at Cambourne Park, a host can book a visitor’s journey back to Gatwick, and a colleague or family member can book on someone else’s behalf, online or by phone on 01223 944905.
Give the traveller’s own name and mobile number, so the driver can reach them directly at Gatwick. For a Gatwick pickup, also give their flight number and where they are flying from, so we can identify the correct flight and terminal. Add the number of passengers and cases and, for Cambourne Park, the company name and building number. Where needed, we can keep both the traveller and the person who made the booking informed.

Cambourne currently has no railway station of its own. From Cambourne, public transport normally means first reaching Cambridge or another transport connection. Direct Thameslink trains run from Cambridge to Gatwick Airport, but the Cambourne leg adds at least one extra connection.
Road traffic varies, so a taxi is not always quicker. Check current timetables before you travel, and weigh up your luggage, your flight time and who is travelling.
