Airport Transfers to Granta Park, Cambridge

Pre-booked transfers from Stansted, Heathrow and the other London airports to Granta Park in Great Abington, for visitors, colleagues and business travellers.

Travelling to Granta Park

Granta Park is a science park in Great Abington, south-east of Cambridge. It has many separate buildings, with laboratories and offices used by life science, research and engineering organisations. The address is Granta Park, Great Abington, Cambridge CB21 6GP.

This page is for people flying in to visit the park, and for the PAs, office managers and reception teams who arrange their travel.

Fleeyo provides pre-booked private airport transfers to and from Granta Park. Your driver meets you at the airport and takes you directly to the park. The fare is shown in full before you confirm and is then fixed for the agreed journey.

Stansted Airport to Granta Park

London Stansted is the closest of the London airports to Granta Park. A pre-booked transfer takes you from the terminal to the building you are visiting in one direct journey, and your luggage stays in the vehicle the whole way.

Your fare includes a pickup at Express Set Down, a short walk outside the terminal. After you land, your driver calls or sends a text message to confirm where to meet, and you walk out through the main terminal doors. If you would like your driver to meet you inside arrivals with a name board, ask for this when you book. It is quoted in advance.

Give us the flight number when you book. Your driver tracks the flight and adjusts the pickup time if it lands early or late, at no extra cost. The fare does not change because of traffic or a delayed flight.

Public transport is also an option. Stansted Airport lists direct trains and coaches to Cambridge, and from Cambridge you need a bus or a taxi for the last part of the journey to the park. This can work well for a traveller with light luggage who knows the area. For a first visit, a late arrival or a visitor with several bags, a booked transfer is often simpler. See booking for a colleague or visitor for the details we need.

Heathrow Airport to Granta Park

Heathrow is on the west side of London, so the road journey to Granta Park is a long one, via the M25 and the M11. We cover Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5, and we set the pickup time from the flight you give us.

At Heathrow, meeting you inside the terminal is part of every pickup. Your driver waits nearby and comes into arrivals once you are through. They hold a board with your name on it and help with your luggage to the car.

There is no direct train from Heathrow to Granta Park. By rail you need at least two trains and then onward transport to the park. For example, you can take the Elizabeth line to London Liverpool Street and a train to Whittlesford Parkway, or the Piccadilly line to King’s Cross St Pancras and a train to Cambridge. National Express also runs direct coaches from Heathrow to Cambridge, and from there you need onward transport to the park.

For a visitor arriving after a long-haul flight, changing trains in London with luggage can be difficult, especially on a first visit to the UK. A booked transfer replaces those changes with one vehicle from the terminal to the park, which is why a company may choose it for an overseas guest.

Gatwick, Luton and London City

We also provide transfers to Granta Park from the other London airports.

Gatwick

Your driver meets you inside arrivals with a name board, and this is included in the fare. By rail, Thameslink runs direct trains from Gatwick to Cambridge, and you then need onward transport to the park.

Luton

Your fare includes a pickup at the airport’s Pick Up and Drop Off zone, a short walk from the terminal. Meeting you inside the terminal is available on request and quoted when you book.

London City

Your fare includes a pickup at the signed pick-up area in the airport’s on-site car park. The terminal is small, so the walk out is short. Meeting you inside is available on request.

Our meet and greet page explains how pickups work at each airport.

Arriving at Granta Park

Ask the company you are visiting to register your visit before you arrive. Granta Park’s visitor system links expected visitors with the gatehouse. Each company registers its own visitors, either through the person hosting the visit or through its reception team.

If you are arranging the visit, register the visitor for the correct date and time before they arrive. A visitor who has not been registered may have difficulty gaining entry.

Granta Park gives CB21 6GP as its postcode for sat nav. The park has many separate buildings, so the postcode alone does not show which one you need. Give us the company name and the building name or number, so your driver knows where to take you.

Fleeyo is an independent private hire operator, licensed by South Cambridgeshire District Council. We are not connected with Granta Park, and visitor access is managed by the park and the company you are visiting.

Booking for a Colleague or Visitor

A PA, office manager, reception team or colleague can book the transfer for the person travelling. The person who books and the person who travels do not need to be the same. You can book online or call 01223 944905.

Where needed, we can keep both the traveller and the person who made the booking informed. You can pay online when you book. Fleeyo also supports business accounts, and invoices for account bookings can be sent to your company’s finance contact. Our corporate travel page explains business accounts and booking for others in more detail.
