Pre-booked transfers from Stansted, Heathrow and the other London airports to Cambridge Science Park on Milton Road, with practical travel information for visitors, colleagues and the teams who arrange their trips.
Cambridge Science Park is on Milton Road, about three miles north of Cambridge city centre and close to the A14 and A10 junctions. The Park’s address is Cambridge Science Park, Milton Road, Cambridge CB4 0GQ.
It is home to science and technology organisations, including Amgen, Raspberry Pi and Toshiba Research Europe. If you are visiting a company on the Park, check the official Park Directory for the current organisation details, and ask your host for their building number.
This page is for business visitors flying in to the Park, and for the PAs and office teams who arrange their travel. It also explains Cambridge North station, the Park shuttle and the other ways to reach the Park.
Fleeyo provides pre-booked private airport transfers to and from the Park. The fare is shown in full before you confirm and is then fixed for the agreed journey.
Stansted is the closest of the London airports to the Park. The Park is in north Cambridge, close to the A14 and A10, and the normal road approach from Stansted is via the M11 towards the north of the city rather than through the city centre. The exact route and the journey time vary with traffic.
Your fare includes a pickup at Express Set Down, a short walk outside the terminal. Your driver calls or sends a text message after you land to confirm where to meet. Meeting you inside arrivals with a name board is available on request and quoted when you book.
Give us your flight number when you book. Your driver tracks the flight and adjusts the pickup time if it lands early or late, at no extra cost. Traffic or a delayed flight does not change the fare.
By public transport, Stansted Airport lists direct trains to Cambridge. From Cambridge station, the Guided Busway runs to the Park, or you can take a taxi. You can also check the National Rail journey planner for services to Cambridge North, the station closest to the Park.
Public transport can work well for a traveller with light luggage and time to spare. A booked transfer is often simpler for an international arrival with luggage, an early or late flight, or a visitor who does not know Cambridge. See booking for a colleague or visitor for the details we need.
Heathrow is west of London, so the transfer is a long road journey, and the route varies with traffic and conditions. We cover Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5.
At Heathrow, meeting you inside the terminal is part of every pickup. Your driver waits nearby and comes into arrivals once you are through, with a board showing your name, then helps with your luggage to the car.
By public transport, one route is the Piccadilly line from Heathrow to King’s Cross St Pancras, then a train from London King’s Cross to Cambridge North, the station closest to the Park. From Cambridge North you can walk, take the Park shuttle when it is running, or take a taxi. National Express also runs direct coaches from Heathrow to Cambridge, with a bus or taxi for the last part.
That can mean three stages with luggage after a long flight. One pre-booked vehicle from the terminal to the Park replaces them, which is why a company may book a car for an overseas visitor.
We also provide transfers to the Park from Gatwick, Luton and London City.
Meeting you inside arrivals with a name board is included in the fare. By rail, Thameslink runs direct trains from Gatwick to Cambridge, and you then continue to the Park by Guided Busway or taxi.
Your fare includes a pickup at the airport’s Pick Up and Drop Off zone, a short walk from the terminal. Meeting you inside is available on request and quoted when you book.
Your fare includes a pickup at the signed pick-up area in the airport’s on-site car park, a short walk from the small terminal. Meeting you inside is available on request.
Our meet and greet page explains how pickups work at each airport.
Cambridge North, on Cowley Road, is the nearest mainline station to the Park. If you arrive by train, these are the options for the last part of the journey.
Check the current shuttle times on the Park’s website before you travel.
With heavy luggage, equipment or a meeting at a fixed time, the walk may not suit, and the shuttle may not be running when you arrive. In that case a taxi from the station, or a transfer booked from the airport straight to the Park, is usually more practical.
Cambridge Science Park is open to the public, and each organisation on the Park manages its own visitors. Follow your host’s arrival instructions and any security procedures at their building.
The Park has many separate buildings, identified by number. For example, The Bradfield Centre is at 184 Cambridge Science Park. “Cambridge Science Park” alone may not be enough for the final drop-off, so give us the company name, the building number, and a contact name and mobile number. Your driver can then take you to the appropriate destination rather than simply to the general Park address.
There is no public parking on the Park, and parking spaces vary by building, so visitors who drive are asked to check parking arrangements with the organisation they are meeting. For events, the Park directs organisers to The Bradfield Centre; if you are attending one, follow the organiser’s joining instructions.
Fleeyo is an independent private hire operator, licensed by South Cambridgeshire District Council. We are not connected with Cambridge Science Park, its management or the organisations based there.
A PA, office manager or colleague can book the transfer on behalf of the traveller. You can book online or call 01223 944905.
Where needed, we can keep both the traveller and the person who made the booking informed. You can pay online when you book. For regular bookings, Fleeyo also supports business accounts, with invoices for account bookings sent to your company’s finance contact. Our corporate travel page has the details.
